The natural pollution filters of our waterways also serve as big sponges to absorb excess stormwater that would otherwise flood communities and create habitat and greenspace.

SHORELINES

Sea level rise and bigger storms threaten property and infrastructure. Dynamic living shorelines work with wave energy, improve water quality and habitat.

STREAM RESTORATION

Most neighborhoods have a stream running through them and are great habitats and areas to connect with nature. Often unnoticed and neglected, today’s increased storm energy causes erosion and pollutes downstream to our waterways.

TREE PLANTING

Nature’s hardest workers, trees clean the air and absorb polluted stormwater runoff. Planting trees on barren lots can add greenspace to a community and is a fun way for citizens to get involved.
